Clara's cubicle was a screened space -- identical to the many "sleeping spaces" that ringed the perimeter of Installation Way. Behind the screen was a bed, a small table, a chair, and a rod and hangers from which to hang clothes. Her backpack was lying on the bed. Everything was still there, including a warm wool sweater, a pink electronic blanket, a loaf of bread, a bottle of drinking water, a round cardboard box of foil-wrapped triangular cheese, and the printout of the map that she had found on her father's machine by carefully circumventing the protections she had watched him set up and repair.
Beside the bed was a button that said "food truck". Clara pressed it.
